The 33-foot shot gave the Fever a two-point fourth-quarter lead, 70-68. However the Sun rallied late to pull away with an 88-84 win
Indiana fans received a glimpse of its bright future on the play, with last year's No. 1 overall pick, Aliyah Boston, kick-starting the sequence.
It began with a block from Boston on a shot in the lane by Sun forward DeWanna Bonner, which led to a guard Erica Wheeler finding a trailing Clark for her crowd-roaring three.
Through three games, the former Iowa star has gotten off to a slow start in the pros, averaging 17 points per game on 40% shooting, including 32.1% from three, making her deep three against the Sun the biggest of her young WNBA career.
