Cody Rhodes wants to get a 'classic wrestling manager' to join him during his title reign after getting tricked by Logan Paul

When SmackDown GM, Nick Aldis announced that The U.S. Champion would be his next opponent, Rhodes assumed that both titles would be on the line. He even expressed his desire to win both titles and become a grand slam champion. However, Logan threw a curveball at him and made a new contract, which read only the 38-year-old would defend his Undisputed title at the King and Queen of the ring PLE.

It was nice to have that voice in your ear. It was something I missed when Logan and I were doing this contract signing to see him flanked by so many people. I don’t know. Maybe I’m looking for the classic wrestling manager to join me on this title reign. Rhodes recently defeated AJ Styles for the Undisputed WWE Title at Backlash in front of a jam-packed crowd in France. It will be interesting to see whether The American Nightmare manages to retain his title against Paul.

Cody Rhodes learned of plans for The Rock vs. Roman Reigns the day of the 2024 Royal Rumble

After Cody Rhodes won the 2024 Royal Rumble, he pointed towards Roman Reigns, setting up their match for WrestleMania XL. However, at one point, WWE attempted to shift the focus from Rhodes to The Rock. The American Nightmare revealed in that interview what he went through in his mind during that time.

In the same interview, Rhodes spoke about the upcoming documentary about WrestleMania 40. He stated that he knew about the potential plan for a match between the cousins on the night of the Royal Rumble itself. The 38-year-old was told to keep his head up and ensure that nobody knew about this.
